Lincoln Police say a 24 year old woman was critically hurt and her 23 year old passenger was seriously injured after their vehicle was struck just before midnight Friday at 84th and Nebraska Parkway.

LPD says the woman was northbound in a 2019 Honda HRV and was turning westbound onto Nebraska Parkway.  Investigators say a 2016 Dodge Challenger was southbound on S 84th and continued straight through the intersection where the two vehicles collided.

The 24-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Her passenger is expected to recover.  31 year old Ruben Linton was not injured.  He was arrested for DUI and driving during suspension.

Police say Linton had a blood alcohol level of .16, twice the legal limit.
