A second-consecutive road test for No. 22 Nebraska women’s basketball turned into a second-consecutive loss.

The Huskers fell behind early in Des Moines, Iowa, and never recovered as Drake upended Big Red 80-62 Saturday. NU fell to 2-2 on the year.

The Bulldogs led by as much as 22, making 55.4 percent of their shots. The home team also went 9-of-12 on their three-point attempts.

Nebraska, meanwhile, struggled to find ways to put the ball in the basket. The Huskers managed to make just 5-of-24 triples as part of a 31 percent shooting effort.

Alexis Markowski scored a game-high 21 points. Issie Bourne and Jaz Shelley each pitched in nine points.

Nebraska returns home Tuesday to host Tarleton.
