An in-state battle of ranked rivals was quite one sided Tuesday evening.

No. 20 Creighton dominated No. 22 Nebraska 77-51 in Omaha. The 26 point Bluejay win is the largest margin of victory for that side since a 97-64 CU win in December of 1993.

The Bluejays scored first, then ran out to a 16-5 lead. The margin stretched as far as 19 in the first half as the Huskers had no answer on either end.

Nebraska shot just 31 percent from the floor and went 5-of-18 from deep. Creighton made 45 percent of their shots and knocked down 11-of-24 triples.

Jaz Shelley led NU with 14 points, but that came on 4-of-14 shooting. Alexis Markowski managed a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds, though she made less than 50 percent of her free throws at 3-of-7.

Nebraska committed 18 turnovers, which is one more than the season total was through the first two games.

The Huskers stay on the road Saturday as they head to Drake. The Bulldogs pushed No. 4 Iowa to overtime Sunday before falling 92-86.
