Road Rage Incident In West Lincoln Leads To Arrest

Lincoln Police arrested a 27 year old man late Monday afternoon after they say he pulled a gun on a 19 year old man during a road rage incident.  A 19 year old man told police another driver became upset after believing he was cutoff in traffic near I-80 and the Highway 6 interchange.

“The person responsible then pulled up next to the victim, the two exchanged words, and the suspect reportedly produced a handgun,” says Sergeant Chris Vollmer.   During a traffic stop Rudy Requejo-Ybarra was contacted.

Her was taken into custody and booked into the Lancaster County Jail for terroristic threats and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.  A Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun was recovered from the vehicle.
