Lincoln Police were busy Monday night and Tuesday morning.  About 11:45 Monday night officers responded to the 2300 block of B street where an 18-year old Lincoln man had been shot in the abdomen.

Before police arrived the man was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital where he was reported in stable condition.  LPD Captain Max Hubka told KLIN News several people were interviewed but police had conflicting accounts.  Hubka said no arrests have been made but they do not believe there is an on-going threat to the public.

About 2am Tuesday morning officers spotted a vehicle near 48th and Madison that had been stolen about 5-hours before.  As officers made contact 3 people fled and 2 were detained and cooperated.  Eventually the other 3 individuals were detained and after further investigation, officers were able to identify a second stolen vehicle.

Those charged or referred included an 18-year old and 4 others as young as 14.
