Lincoln Police say a woman who was eating lunch at the Costco food court early Wednesday afternoon left her Louis Vuitton wallet on the seat next to her.
Sergeant Chris Vollmer says after finishing her meal the woman forgot the wallet and left the store. “The victim contacted Costco who reviewed store security and it displayed an unknown male collecting the wallet from the seat.”
Vollmer says in that wallet was a four carat diamond ring valued at $77,500. The investigation into the stolen ring continues.
