Two inmates missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) have been arrested taken back into custody. Tabitha Viktora, who went missing on Sept. 30 when she failed to return from her job in the community, was contacted by the Omaha Police Department and booked into the Douglas County Correctional Center. Meanwhile, Krista Foley was arrested by the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 28. She disappeared on Sept. 25 during a pre-approved visit to a community church.
Viktora was sentenced to six to 10 years on a charge of attempted robbery out of Douglas County and began her sentence on July 29, 2020. Prior to her disappearance, she had a parole eligibility date of Jan. 14, 2023 with a tentative release date of Jan. 11, 2025.
Foley was incarcerated on Oct. 27, 2021 on a three-year sentence for possession of a weapon by a prohibited person. Her tentative release date is Aug. 28, 2024.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services runs two community custody facilities, of which CCC-L is one. Inmates of CCC-L are permitted to work in the community, attend school, and take part in religious services.
