“Hocus Pocus” Conjures Movie Magic For Lincoln Residents

By Michael Wheeler Oct 17, 2022 | 6:00 AM

It’s time again for Lincoln Airport’s movie screening! This spooky season, filmgoers will enjoy 1993’s Hocus Pocus, starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimi.

The movie will be projected outdoors at Lincoln Airport on Friday, Oct. 21. The festivities begin between 5:30 and 6 PM, and the movie will begin at dark, which will be at around 7:30 PM. Those in attendance will have the option to stay in their cars or bring blankets and chairs to sit in the grass.

Tickets are free, but registration is preferred so that the airport has an idea about how many people are coming. The movie event will also feature a costume contest for kids, so children can wear their best Halloween costumes to get into the October mood!

Additionally, the latest Lincoln Airport film night will provide a food drive for Lincoln’s Free Little Pantries. The airport encourages visitors to the movie to provide anything from the following list:

Dry goods such as pasta, rice, and boxed meals
Bread, cereal, and granola bars
Peanut butter and jelly
Tea or coffee
Canned meats, fish, and beans
Oil, sugar, flour, and spices
Hygiene items such as deodorant and shampoo
Cleaning items like detergent

Registration and more information are available at the event’s official website.
