A 20 year old Lincoln man was arrested after leading police on a foot chase Wednesday night. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says a woman found Nicholas Snook in her garage in the 600 block of Eldora Lane just before 7:00.
Police arrived and found Snook in the area. “Snook fled from officers on foot, running through yards and over fences. The initial contacting officer deployed their taser, but it was ineffective,” Vollmer says.
An additional officer caught up with Snook and was successful in their taser deployment. Vollmer says Snook was taken into custody and tried to kick one of the arresting officers.
Snook was taken to an area hospital and, after being medically cleared, he was booked into jail for Assault on an Officer.
