Lincoln Police arrested a man after a grocery store near Goodhue Blvd and F Street was robbed just after 4:00 Friday afternoon. ” A male entered La Ilucion at 916 S 13th, threatened the employees, and fled with the cash register,” says LPD Sergeant Chris Vollmer
He says two employees attempted to intervene in the store and sustained minor injuries. “Additional employees followed the male and restrained him for police near Goodhue and F Street.”
43 year old Shawn Brown was taken into custody and transported to jail where he was booked for robbery. The cash register and its contents were recovered and returned to the store.
