State Senator Suzanne Geist announced her bid for Lincoln mayor on Wednesday afternoon. The Republican businesswoman will challenge Democrat Leirion Gaylor Baird.
“I’ll lead an administration that brings all voices to the table from all walks of life, listens to all of the citizens,” Geist says. She also wants voters to feel safer from crime, bounce less on city streets and secure a second source of city water.
