Lincoln Police are investigating a crash at N. 35th Street and Cornhusker Highway that killed 28 year old Pierce White of  Lincoln.  Investigators say White was on a motorcycle that was traveling westbound on Cornhusker Highway approaching N. 35th Street around 6:30 p.m.

LPD says he had the green light when an eastbound sedan, driven by an 18-year-old Lincoln woman,  made a left turn in front of the motorcycle.  White was pronounced dead at the scene.

“We would like to extend our condolences to Pierce’s family and friends and ask the public to respect their privacy as they
grieve the loss of their loved one,” LPD said in a statement.

Anyone with additional information, including video evidence, is asked to call their non-emergency number at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
