Lincoln Police say Gang Unit Investigators saw a 25 year old man driving in the area of 30th and Capitol Parkway around 2:15 Wednesday afternoon. Sergeant Chris Vollmer says they had previous knowledge that Theodore Sachtleben had a suspended license.
“Investigators called for the assistance of a marked patrol cruiser and initiated a traffic stop,” Vollmer says. “The odor of marijuana was detected as Schtleben exited his vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle uncovered 20.4g of marijuana and loaded Springfield XD 9mm.”
Sachtleben was cited for Driving During Suspension and Possession of Marijuana Less Than and Ounce. He was booked into jail for Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
