A man and woman from Lincoln were among three people killed in a two vehicle crash in Richardson County on on Wednesday afternoon. The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office says the head-on crash happened on Highway 75, two miles north of the Kansas State line.
When deputies arrived they found a Kia Forte occupied by 82 year-old Dennis Podliska and 80 year-old Ramona Podliska of Lincoln. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The other vehicle was driven by 74 year-old Patrica Tonar of Omaha. She also died at the scene. “The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office would like to send their condolences to all families involved in the accident,” the department said in a Facebook post.
