The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Wednesday morning crash that sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries. It happened near 38th and Saltillo Road around 7:20 a.m.
Sergeant Mike Hipps tells KLIN News a westbound dump truck collided with an eastbound Honda Accord. “The driver of the dump truck did not sustain any injuries. The driver of the Honda was transported to Bryan West with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.” It appears that the driver of the Honda partially crossed the center line resulting in the collision.
The injured driver was airlifted to the hospital. The sheriff’s department is still trying to determine what caused the crash.
