LFR battled a garage fire that spread into a home around 7:45 p.m. Friday, July 29th.
The garage was attached to the home at 1100 SW 44th Street. The fire spread into the home and there is water, fire and smoke damage throughout.
No one was hurt but a dog did perish in the fire. Firefighters attempted to save the dog’s life without success.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and the total loss is not known. The investigation continues.
