Visitors to the Lincoln Children’s Zoo will get their first glimpse of one of their newest additions on Saturday. Mario the giraffe was born on June 23rd and will make his debut at 10 a.m.
The Zoo’s John Chapo tells KLIN News, “We are really excited. He is already 6’9″ at a month old tomorrow.”
Mario is the 3rd baby giraffe born at the Lincoln Zoo. He was born on June 23rd and his mother is doing a great job in raising him.
Chapo says, ” We are very proud of being a leader to help preserve giraffes at Lincoln Children’s Zoo and helping to save this endangered species.”
