A 31 year old woman and a 51 year old male waived down an officer that was in front of the downtown police station at 575 S 10th Street around 3:36 p.m. Monday to report being threatened at Pioneer Park.
The couple told officers they had engaged in a verbal exchange with an unknown man and woman who were in a red car. The victims left the park but were followed by the two suspects. The victims say as they drove around southwest Lincoln, the two suspects continue to follow them until they arrived at the police station. The female victim said the male suspect repeatedly pointed what she believed to be a handgun at their vehicle.
The victims were able to give police a vehicle description and a partial license plate number.
At 6 p.m., members of the Fugitive Task Force conducted a traffic stop and located 34 year old Christopher Fleming and 21 year old Allyssa Dean. Both were taken into custody without incident. The reported handgun turned out to be a laser pointer.
Fleming was booked for terroristic threats and possession of a controlled substance. Dean was booked for possession of a controlled substance and cited for disturbing the peace.
