Lincoln Police were called to the Nebraska Republican Party Headquarters at 1610 N Street around 12:30 Monday to investigate a burglary.
A party volunteer had arrived to meet a locksmith as she couldn’t get into the building. There was no sign of forced entry into the building.
When they got inside, the volunteer said the building had been disturbed and an office computer and security cameras were missing. The loss is estimated at $1,000.
LPD continues the investigation and are conducting interviews. They are also working to identify any additional stolen items.
