There is another COVID-19 death in Lancaster County – a man in his 80’s who was hospitalized and vaccinated. The total number of deaths is now at 445.
Case numbers continue to climb. There were 110 new cases reported on Wednesday.
There are 47 people hospitalized with 34 from Lancaster County. One patient is on a ventilator
The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department reminds residents that at home test kits are available in the main lobby of the Health Department at 31st and O Street during regular business hours. Test kits are also available at all Lincoln City Library locations. Results can be reported to the Health Department.
The Health Department now provides COVID-19 vaccine for children under age 5. The clinics will be smaller clinics that meet the needs of young children and are by appointment only. Parents and guardians can schedule an appointment through COVID19.lincoln.ne.gov or by calling 402-441-4200.
