Lincoln Police have made an arrest in the robbery of the the US Bank branch at 2640 Ticonderoga Avenue last Wednesday. LPD says just before 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, 29 year old Michael McNeil was contacted by officers on a traffic stop near 27th & Cornhusker Highway and taken into custody without incident.
McNeil was subsequently arrested and lodged in jail for one count of Robbery, a Class II Felony. Police say on July 6 officers responded to a hold up alarm at the bank where employees reported a man walked in and initially asked to make a withdrawal. He then handed the bank employee a note demanding money.
An undisclosed amount of money was turned over and the man was last seen walking southbound from the area.
