The Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department is inviting residents to attend the Master Plan for Bowling Lake Park open house from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 28. The event will be at the open air shelter on the island at the park at NW. 44th and West Cuming streets.
Those attending can review the plan and share their comments with parks staff. Planned improvements include the addition of a dog run and the relocation of the radio controlled vehicle track from its current location near Oak Lake Park. In case of bad weather the meeting will be held at the Air Park Recreation Center at 3820 NW. 46th St. “
“This is an exciting time for the residents of the Air Park area neighborhood,” said Parks and Recreation Director Maggie Stuckey-Ross. “The addition of a Dog Run to Bowling Lake Park will provide a much-needed recreational resource for neighbors and their pets.”
