For the second night this week, Lincoln Police responded to the Caterpillar Vapes Shop in the 2600 block of North 11th. Early Tuesday morning someone tossed a rock through a window causing $200 in damage but no one entered the store.
Just before 2 am Thursday morning, LPD officers responded to a glass break alarm at the shop and found the front glass door completely shattered and several rocks on the ground which had been used to gain entry. “Employees reported approximately $700 in damage and $200 worth of various vape juices and lighter products missing,” says LPD Captain Todd Kocian. ” We are attempting to gather security video and the business will be conducting an inventory to determine if any additional items are missing.”
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Lincoln Police Department at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
