Lancaster County deputies saw a speeding vehicle around 12:45 Tuesday morning at S 54th and Wittstruck Road.
Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says the deputies clocked the vehicle traveling 80 miles per hour and deputies gave chase. The driver refused to stop and turned eastbound on S 54th and Martell Road.
The chase continued for 2 1/2 miles before the driver lost control, went into a ditch and rolled at 96th and Martell Road.
The driver, 20 year old Kaedon Thurman was taken into custody and booked for felony operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest. He was also charged with DUI, speeding, willful reckless driving, and for having no proof of insurance.
Thurman was not injured.
