Lincoln Police have identified the 24 year old man who was killed in a motorcycle crash just before 10:00 p.m. Saturday at 84th and Augusta Drive.
LPD says a motorcycle was northbound on South 84th Street when it struck an SUV that had been southbound on South 84th Street and was turning left onto Augusta Drive.
Police say the motorcycle rider, 24-year-old Keith Doering of Lincoln, was pronounced dead at the scene. “We would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Keith. We would also ask the public to respect their privacy as they grieve the loss of their loved one,” LPD said in a statement.
The investigation is continuing and the Lincoln Police Department is asking anyone who witnessed or has information regarding this crash to come forward. Anyone with information can call 402- 441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
