Lincoln Transportation and Utilities officials say beginning Tuesday, June 14, the intersection of South 56th Street and Old Cheney Road will be closed for a stormwater pipe maintenance project.
There will still be access to area businesses. StarTran Route 53-Southpointe bus stops will be closed during this work. This project is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, June 21.
Digital signs will alert traffic to upcoming work and closures. Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around the work zone.
