Lincoln Police are looking for a man who took a 2015 white Chevy Silverado pickup from LAX Auto Sales at 400 West Cornhusker Highway Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to the business at 9:45 a.m. on June 7th. Surveillance video shows that at 4:45 a.m., a man wearing shorts, a t-shirt and a mask used a 2007 Ford F-250 pickup to ram a garage door on the east side of the business to gain entry. The Ford was found to have been reported stolen on June 6th from the 2500 block of Wildcat Drive.
An employee reported that the man took the keys and left in the Silverado that has a large bumper, black rims, and large mirrors on the side. It was last seen traveling eastbound on Cornhusker. The Silverado is valued at $52,900.
