Nearly $1.5 million dollars have been awarded to 9 non-profits to support efforts to respond to and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The grants were announced by the Community Health Endowment of Lincoln (CHE).
Endowment President and CEO Lori Seibel told KLIN News the fund was started near the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic with the idea that Lincoln would have resilience against the pandemic.
These most recent grants come from the second year of the fund’s existence.
