TADA Theatre, located in Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket District, has offered professional quality, affordable theatre to our community for more than 20 years and next year will be the theatre’s 15th anniversary. Featuring a large diverse group of theatrical artists, a dedicated production team, an ever-growing patron base and an esteemed Board of Directors, TADA has involved hundreds of actors, students, designers and regional artists working towards the same goal and impacting our community with the positive power of theatre.
June 9th will mark the opening of the blockbuster musical RENT on the TADA Theatre stage. This will be a fresh new take on the musical, and yet the show remains as timeless as when it first premiered. Created by Jonathan Larson, whose autobiographical musical Tick-Tick Boom was recently adapted for the critically award-winning production on Netflix, RENT is a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning theatrical production. The musical works fantastic in the TADA space, where the intimacy allows actors to connect much more with the patrons.
Tickets are available now for RENT, with shows June 9th through June 26th: Thursdays through Sundays 7:00pm shows, and additional matinee performances at 2:00pm Saturdays and Sundays.
