A dispute between neighbors ended with the arrest of a 54 year old man late Saturday night in the 300 block of north 44th Street. A 50 year old woman and her 48 year old boyfriend reported their neighbor had shot their home with a BB gun.
Officers had previously been called there earlier in the evening on a report of a dispute between neighbors over an unspecified issue. “During interviews, the 48-year-old male also reported being struck in the head by a BB and was observed to have a small laceration behind the ear, and what appeared to be a BB under the skin,” says Sergeant Chris Vollmer.
Vollmer says a review of home security cameras showed Shaun Henry exiting his home with a handgun style BB gun. Several shots were heard and then Henry returned to his home. He was taken into custody and booked for for 2nd degree assault and cited for discharge of a weapon or instrument when unsafe to do so and for property damage.
