A 27 year old man is recovering after being hit by a vehicle around 5:40 Tuesday morning at 10th and South Street. “The pedestrian was walking eastbound in the crosswalk crossing 10th street on the north side of the intersection,” says Sergeant Chris Vollmer.
“The motorist was traveling westbound on South Street and conducting a right turn to go northbound on 10th Street.” The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was cited and released for negligent driving.
