Faulty wiring in a laundry room is being blamed for a fire at a Lincoln duplex that caused thousands of dollars damage. LFR’s Nancy Crist says crews were called Monday to the area of SW 10th and west C Street.
She says crews were able to quickly put the fire out. It caused about $30,000 damage to the duplex and another $10,000 to the contents.
No one was hurt and the residents in the side of the duplex where the fire started were displaced.
