Lincoln Public School officials say a recent spike in COVID-19 cases has prompted a mask requirement to be implemented at two elementary schools.

Emails were sent to parents of students at Eastridge and Zeman elementary schools saying masks are now required indoors, on school busses and for school events.

The requirement is for students, staff and visitors and will remain in effect until the end of the school year, which is May 25. Parents are advised to keep their child home if they have symptoms like fever, cough or sore throat.
