Fire destroyed a house just west of the Nebraska Wesleyan University campus Friday morning. The fire broke out around 7:30 near 46th and St. Paul Avenue.
Flames were coming from the second story when firefighters arrived. LFR’s Nancy Crist says the house was abandoned and condemned and due to hoarding conditions inside firefighters fought the flames from the outside.
No one was hurt and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
