If you or someone you know is looking for a job, a community and career expo will be held in Lincoln on Thursday, May 19. The Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, Catholic Social Services and other local agencies are collaborating to host a big hiring event.
“We have 35 employers participating, anywhere from manufacturing, professional employment, youth employment, health care and construction,” Lincoln Chamber of Commerce President Jason Ball told LNK Today. “We’re just trying to help employers connect with people to hire and help connect people connect with that next opportunity in their career.”
The career expo will be held from 3-7 p.m. at Catholic Social Services at 2241 O Street. There is no cost and free food will be served.
