Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Director Pat Lopez says she’s pleased with the number of people who rolled up their sleeves during a two-day large scale vaccination clinic at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The clinic wrapped up Wednesday afternoon.
“Yesterday we saw close to 2,800 people and we had more than 1,000 people set up to come in on Wednesday.” The health department offered first and second boosters as well as initial immunizations against Covid-19.
Lopez says vaccination is the best defense against the virus and they have seen an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in recent days.
