State Senator Rich Pahls of Omaha has died at the age of 78. Pahls represented District 31 in the Nebraska Legislature.
Pahls first served as an Omaha City Council member and was an administrator at Millard Public Schools.
Pahls was elected to the Nebraska Legislature in 2004. He was re-elected in 2008 and again in 2020.
Pahls is being remembered by a number of colleagues and friend today.
