Local veterans who are unemployed or underemployed can attend a job fair Wednesday at in Lincoln. “So if they’re looking for something that pays a little better or looking for an opportunity where they can move up, this would be a great job fair for them,” says Dawn Carrillo with the Nebraska Department of Labor in Lincoln.
“We have 21 employers and most of the employers have multiple job openings. We’ve got employers from the State of Nebraska, We have construction employers, we have manufacturing, finance, health care. it’s kind of all across the board,” Carrillo says.
She tells KLIN News there could be on the spot interviews and job offers. The job fair will run from 2-6 p.m. at City Impact at 1035 N. 33rd Street. Here is the list of employers and service providers that will be taking part:
