Lincoln Police responded to a crash shortly after 2:30 Monday morning on Rosa Parks Way just west of Folsom Lane. “One vehicle had apparently been driving westbound in the eastbound lanes and left the roadway before striking a light pole,” LPD Captain Max Hubka tells KLIN News.
He says the impact caused the entire light pole to fall to the ground. “Significant damage resulted to the vehicle however, no major injuries occurred,” Hubka says.
He says through their investigation they learned the 18 year old woman who was driving was under the influence of alcohol. She was transported to a local hospital for care and then cited for DUI and negligent driving.
