The Nebraska State Patrol made an arrest Wednesday, April 20th after a pursuit at 1:55 a.m. on Cornhusker near NW 4th Street.

The trooper saw an Ford F-150 speeding and attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle took off. That led to a pursuit through residential streets before exiting the roadway and stopping in a ditch. The driver then tried to run but he was quickly apprehended by the trooper. The entire incident took approximately five minutes.

The driver, 49 year old Alex Fox was booked for flight to avoid arrest, DUI – 3rd offense, reckless driving, obstructing a peace officer, driving during revocation, and possession of an open alcohol container. He was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail.
