Lincoln Police report there have been additional reports of checks being taken from apartment payment drop boxes. The timeframe of the incidents match those of last week. There does not appear to be a specific area of the city that is being targeted and the investigation continues.
Lincoln Police also report catalytic converter thefts continue to be a widespread problem. Again, there is not a certain area where victims are being targeted. Police do ask if you hear a saw, especially at night, or see something suspicious to give them a call at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
