Lincoln Police were dispatched to a home in the 2100 block of Garfield Street at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, April 10th to investigate a stabbing.
The caller told police that a 37 year old man had been stabbed by his girlfriend. Both parties had left the area and officers were informed the woman had taken the man to a hospital.
Police went to the hospital and spoke with the victim who had a puncture wound to his right hand. He will recover. The woman, 52 year old Julie Milton had left the hospital.
Officers located Milton and conducted a traffic stop near 14th and Arapahoe a few minutes later. Milton was booked for 1st degree domestic assault and for use of a weapon to commit a felony.
