Travelers and tourists are preparing to hit the road for this summer’s Nebraska Passport Program.  The Passport inspires Nebraskans to travel throughout the state collecting stamps to earn prizes, while also supporting Nebraska’s tourism destinations and local businesses.

“The Nebraska Passport Program has been extremely popular,” Lincoln Convention and Visitor’s Bureau executive director Jeff Maul told LNK Today  “Last year a record breaking 1,322 program participants made it to every stop on the tour.”  There are 60-70 stops on the statewide tour.

The program runs from May 1 through September 30.  Maul says there are six Lincoln stops in the program and are a good variety of off-the-beaten-path and common tourism attractions.

The stops are Adventure Golf Center, LUX Center For The Arts, Paint Yourself Silly, Robber’s Cave Tours, The Hub Cafe and Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center.
