Testimony in the trial of Congressman Jeff Fortenberry continued Monday with testimony from Dr Elias Ayoub. Ayoub made the 2018 phone call to Fortenberry that was recorded by the FBI.
Paul Hammel reported in the Nebraska Examiner that Ayoub that Fortenberry clearly got the message that the contributions in question were illegal.
