Lincoln firefighters were called to the Casey’s store at 40th and Adams just before 11:00 Monday morning after employees saw some smoke coming from a wall.
“When we arrived we did discover that there was smoke coming from the wall on the front side of the gas station. We opened up the wall both from the interior and exterior and did find some fire burning in that wall,” Gegg tells KLIN News.
He says they were able to quickly put out the fire. All of the customers and employees got out safely. He says damage is minimal and the cause is not yet known.
