The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says an upgraded telephone system that was installed in the County and City Offices has created some issues.
The Sheriff’s Office has found telephone calls to their main, non-emergency number are not always ringing through. Some callers report “their call cannot be completed as dialed” when dialing 402 441-6500
Callers who are not getting through on that number or are told “their call cannot be completed as dialed” are asked to call 402 441 6000, the Communications Center’s non-emergency line. You will be then be transferred to your intended recipient.
