A passerby called Lincoln Police around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 14th after hearing gunshots near 30th and D Street. That person told police 10 to 15 men and women were yelling at each other at 29th and D Street. The group then got into a sedan and an SUV and took off while firing a number of gunshots.
Officers arrived and found 14 shell casings in the area. They searched the vicinity but found no damage to buildings. There have been no reports of injuries in connection to this disturbance.
