A 45 year old woman and a 50 year old man returned home around 11 p.m. Saturday to find 28 year old Cody Sharp inside their home in the 700 block of Charleston Street.
The couple heard a loud noise and found he had broken a window and was standing inside their living room “speaking gibberish”. Sharp then broke a vase and was then chased from the home.
Sharp then tried to kick in a door to another home in the 700 block of Charleston Street. A 42 year old man who lived there confronted Sharp and he took off running.
Sharp was located by police a short distance away. Sharp was arrested for criminal trespass, criminal mischief, and for disturbing the peace.
