The count is complete. Lancaster County Election Commissioner David Schively announced his office completed the review of petition signatures on the Repeal of Lincoln City Ordinance 22-31.
The Election Commission Office reviewed 315 petition pages of the 1,361 total pages that were submitted to the Lincoln City Clerk.
Of the 5,718 petition lines reviewed, 4,915 signatures were proven valid. This was more than 10% higher than the number required per the Lincoln City Charter.
The Election Commissioner has certified this to the Lincoln City Clerk and has returned all of the petitions to her office.
