A Lincoln woman is facing drug, weapons and other charges after being arrested late Wednesday night. LPD Captain Todd Kocian says around 10:15 p.m. investigators with the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force observed a blue Honda CRV being driven by 42-year-old Quiairmia Scdoris.
Scdoris was believed to be involved in narcotics and investigators followed her. A marked cruiser initiated a traffic stop in the area of 27th Street and Fair Street after the vehicle made an improper turn. After contacting Scdoris officers found she had a 9-year-old and a 2-year-old child improperly restrained in the backseat.
Officers also detected an odor of marijuana. Scdoris was asked to exit the vehicle but refused and had to physically be removed by officers. They then found a methamphetamine pipe with residue in Scdoris’ pants pocket. The vehicle was searched and officers located a backpack containing 43.1 grams of methamphetamine that was packaged for sale among 9 separate baggies, 42.4 grams of marijuana, a .31 caliber black powder pistol, paraphernalia consistent with narcotics sales and personal effects bearing Scdoris’ name.
An additional $320 of suspected drug proceeds was also located in the vehicle. Scdoris was arrested for Possessing Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver, Possessing a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possessing Money while Violating a Drug Statute, Child Abuse, Resisting Arrest, Possessing Marijuana 1oz or less, and Improper Turn.
